I had a great time during my recent holiday at a guest house near Marievale Bird Sanctuary. The bed was comfortable and the hot water was a plus! The location was perfect for visiting the sanctuary and there was a nice pub with a snooker table. The breakfast was delicious and was packed to go for my early morning bird watching. The hosts were friendly and helpful with directions to restaurants.

The distance from town. It was a bit too far for those without a car.
